After being dramatically sidelined with transmission problems near the end of Leg 1 of the Trans-India Challenge, Queen Bee – Alan and Pat Braithwaite’s Morgan 3 Wheeler – was transported to Kolkata for repairs. After several days of struggle and customs debacles, new parts were fitted and an emotional Alan started her up for the first time in 10 days.
The Braithwaites and Queen Bee are now buzzing along nicely on Leg 3 of the challenge and heading for Varanassi via Patna. Fingers crossed for the rest of this epic adventure!
